"Pretty easy once I got the hang of it"
I found Adobe easy to get around overall. Most things were right where I expected them to be, but a few menus took me a minute to figure out, especially the smaller options tucked away in the corners. Once I clicked around a bit, it made sense.

"Adobe itself works well once I’m actually..."
Adobe itself works well once I’m actually logged in, but dealing with the account side of things has been kind of a headache. I’ve been logged out a few times for no obvious reason, and resetting my password took way longer than I expected. Trying to find billing or plan settings also feels weirdly buried, and the support pages kept sending me around in circles. It’s not a total dealbreaker, but for a company this big, I’d expect the login and account area to be a lot smoother. Has anyone else run into the same issue?

"Trying to find my plan and the..."
Trying to find my plan and the page to cancel was such a pain. I kept clicking through menus and, like, somehow ending up back in the same places. A few pages loaded weird too, so yeah, I eventually just gave up feeling way more annoyed than I expected.

"Feels overpriced for basic use"
I might be jumping to conclusions, but Adobe really feels way too expensive these days. I only use a couple of basic features here and there, yet the pricing makes it seem like I’m some full-time designer using it every single day. The monthly cost adds up fast, and canceling wasn’t exactly smooth either. The software is good, no doubt, but for regular people who just need simple stuff, it really doesn’t feel worth it. Kind of seems like they know people feel stuck, so they price it that way

"Great tools, if you enjoy scavenger hunts"
Adobe pretty much has everything I need, the features are really solid. The catch is that some things feel like they’re either buried five menus deep or randomly split into another app because apparently simplicity was too easy. I still like using it overall, but figuring out where everything lives can waste way more time than it should.

"Support was painfully slow"
I’m honestly 100% convinced support moves at the slowest possible speed. I reached out and, once again, it took way too long to get a reply. Not the first time either, which makes it even more frustrating.

"Keeps crashing and... yeah, it's frustrating"
It keeps crashing on me constantly, and I already lost some work because of it. I was just trying to get things done and then boom, gone. Not really sure what else to say, it’s just been really frustrating.

"I’ve been using this on both my laptop..."
I’ve been using this on both my laptop and phone, and switching between them has been really smooth so far. No issues or weird setup problems. If you use multiple devices, I’d say it’s worth considering.

"Good plans, but canceling takes more effort than it should"
I use Adobe for work, i kind of take the easy mental shortcut of thinking, “If I need more than one app, Creative Cloud is probably the simplest option.” For the most part, it runs fine and the plans make sense if you’re using a few tools regularly. That said, the pricing still feels a little steep, and trying to change or cancel a plan is more annoying than it needs to be. Overall, I’m happy enough with it, but I do wish managing the subscription was easier.

"Overall, the apps do what I need..."
Overall, the apps do what I need, and I use Photoshop and Acrobat regularly. But after some updates, they can get noticeably slow. Isn’t that the worst timing, especially when you’re trying to finish something quickly? The crashes don’t happen all the time, but when they do, it’s usually right when I’m on a deadline. What else would you expect, right? Good tools, just a bit frustrating sometimes.

"Had the learning curve I expected"
I kind of figured this would take me a little while to get the hang of, that turned out to be true. It felt hard at first, but once I stuck with it for a bit, it started making more sense and got a lot easier

"Checkout was fine, just kind of slow"
Payment went through without any issues, but I don’t know why the checkout pages were loading so slowly. I also ended up rechecking my card details twice just to be safe. It wasn’t a huge problem, just a little annoying...

"I mostly use Adobe when I just need..."
I mostly use Adobe when I just need my files to open without a headache. It handles my PDFs and a few other formats easily, and exporting to different file types is usually simple. Just a heads up though: make sure you check your export settings before saving, because it’s easy to assume everything is set the way you want. Overall, I haven’t had any major issues with it.

"Refund took much longer than expected"
I cancelled my Adobe plan and asked for a refund, but the whole process ended up being way more frustrating than it should’ve been. Support kept replying with basically the same thing, like “we’re checking on it” or “please allow more time,” and I had to keep explaining the situation over and over. They gave me a time frame, but I’m still waiting past that. it’s been really annoying and not what I expected from Adobe.

I was expecting canceling to be a whole hassle, but it was done in minutes. Minutes. Super simple, no back-and-forth, no stress.

"I had the adobe app downloaded in just..."
I had the adobe app downloaded in just a few minutes, and the installation was really straightforward. I liked that there were no random error messages, confusing prompts, or extra steps to deal with. I just signed in, opened it up, and everything worked right away.

"I signed up for the free trial and..."
I signed up for the free trial and, thankfully, it wasn’t one of those dramatic nightmare situations where the cancel date is hidden in the shadows. The trial was easy to start, and the cancellation deadline was clear enough that I knew exactly when I needed to decide...

"Billing felt a little shady to me"
I’m not saying they were trying to hide anything, but the billing just didn’t feel very clear. I had to look around to figure out what I was being charged for, and if I have to think that much about it, it feels kind of sneaky. Maybe it was explained somewhere, but I didn’t notice it, so that’s basically the same problem to me.

"Good updates, but still feels a little heavy"
I’ve used Adobe apps for a while, so I wasn’t expecting everything to suddenly feel brand new, but the recent updates on Adobe are definitely a step in the right direction. It’s easier than before to find downloads and manage my plan, which is what I was hoping for.
Photoshop and Acrobat have some useful changes too, especially the AI features. That said, based on what I expect from apps this established, they still feel heavier than they should on my laptop at times. Updates also seem to take longer than I’d like.
Overall, I’m happy with it because it does what I need for work and the improvements are noticeable. I just expected things to feel a bit smoother by now, with fewer popups and less waiting around.

"I had been trying to fix the issue..."
I had been trying to fix the issue myself for a bit while I had coffee getting cold on my desk, and I expected it to take forever. But tech support jumped in and got everything working quickly. Really appreciated the help.

Adobe Q&A

Is adobe systems a scam or a legit company?

JeffPowell

“You'll eventually end up paying for a service that you won't be able to use. While they're unfortunately a legit company. They're customer service is garbage and they're support team doesn't know how to fix their own software.”

Why doesn't adobe flash player/adobe shockwave get along with my firefox browser? this is a major problem and it has cost me hours in attempting all known fixes as seen of firefox and adobe help pages. i was able to ignore this issue before i "upgraded" to windows10, but now, every site i attempt to access that still displays flash freezes up for a minute or so before i get adobe's crash announcement. i will not abandon firefox, though this does not seem to be an issue in chrome, ie or the new edge browsers. what, if anything, is adobe willing to do to solve this long term problem?
